My career in photojournalism began in earnest with Atlanta's Centennial Olympic Park bombing in 1996 when I was working as a lab technician at the Atlanta Journal-Constitution. It culminated during the protests against police protests in Ferguson, Mo. in 2014, earning me a 2015 Pulitzer Prize in Breaking News Photography.
